Mac and Cheese

We're headed to the Home Depot, when ATD suggests we get lunch first. We have coupons for the new Chick-Fil-A, so we head there. The route takes us toward the local IKEA, which the AT has been to what, twice, three times? Not for the last few months, either.

Little voice pipes up from the car seat "Mac and cheese, mac and cheese." We calmly explain "Chick-fil-A doesn't have mac and cheese. How about french fries?" The louder, I'm getting close to tantrum voice responds "No french fries. Mac and Cheese! Mac and Cheese!"

ATD and I can't quite figure it out. Where will we find mac and cheese for lunch. Then it hits me - there's the big blue and yellow box of IKEA, home of the $.99 kids meal of ...
MAC and CHEESE.

Many more dollars than $.99 later, our bellies full of mac and cheese, ATD and I continue to remain dumbfounded at the little fellow's memory
